MADDEN NFL 22

After MADDEN NFL 21, I was asked to become the Art Lead for MADDEN NFL’s Live Services. Effectively responsible for Manager, Oroducer, and Art Direction duties for the ‘22 and ‘23 content.

  • I was recognized for my efforts by earning a Sharkie. An annual studio award ceremony celebrating people in a variety of disciplines from culture, development, art and more. My award was for ‘Achievement in Art’ for Madden Ultimate Team in M21.

  • Creating program key art for many of our largest programs/campaigns.

  • Provided art direction for all programs; key art, packs, player items, logos, etc to ensure the quality of our products.

  • Worked with our motion graphics partner to provide art direction for all of our item animations.

  • Set Creative Direction for all programs with our motion graphics partners for the upcoming M23 release.

  • Provided direction for our experience designers to which areas needed the most attention.

  • Working closely with our designers and producers to scope all content visuals to ensure the best assets we can create within our allocated hours.

  • Helping designers prioritize all content visuals so our artists are putting their efforts in the right places.

  • I was responsible for managing JIRA tasks for the art team, and gathering necessary information from producers and designers regarding their designs.

  • Responsible for providing direction for countless visuals from our Messaging department.

  • Worked with multiple first-party partners to create assets based on their IPs, and keeping a healthy relationship between all parties.

  • Increased our output by improving and streamlining several of our existing processes.

  • Implemented new processes to help alleviate pressures for the team.

  • Created an all-new Onboarding process for MUT new hires that focuses on training new members that are both on campus or working remotely.

  • Worked with out UI/UX partners to help provide feedback on upcoming visuals and experiences for M23.

  • Worked with our Technical Artists to ensure all of our YOY on-disc assets are updated for the upcoming release.

  • Determined the scope for all program visuals and ask throughout the year.

  • Lead countless program, design and feature meetings to keep our visibility and communications at the forefront of our team.

  • Development and Career management for contractor artists.

  • Responsible for our hiring and interviewing process for Live Service artists.

During the MADDEN NFL 22 cycle, I was asked to become the Experience Design Lead for MUT for MADDEN NFL 24 and beyond while also remaining as the Art Lead for Live Services.

I collaborated with amazing Artists, Designers and Producers to help achieve each of our wonderful programs. Together we created the visuals throughout the year.
